Reebok Celebrates 40 Years of Classic Club C 85 Tennis Shoe With Limited-Edition Throwback Sneaker

Reebok is celebrating 40 years of its classic Club C 85 low-top tennis shoe with a special limited-edition pair honoring the silhouette’s 1980s origins.
The 40th Anniversary Club C 85 boasts premium white full-grain garment leather, just like the original Club Champions did, underscoring the classic status of these kicks. They feature the classic blue Reebok logo, as well as a classic gum sole.
These enduring sneakers were launched as a performance court shoe for casual players to coordinate with their tennis whites. The Club C debuted women’s sizing in 1993, the same year Reebok moved the silhouette into its Classics category.

The Club C has remained a quietly popular staple lifestyle sneaker ever since its ’80s heyday, and has gained visibility in recent years after being spotted on celebs, including Emily Ratajkowski and Shawn Mendes.
“As Reebok celebrates 40 years of the irreplaceable Club C 85, the shoe remains a symbol of versatility and style, reminding fashion, lifestyle, and sneaker communities that everyone needs a classic,” the brand states.
The shoes are designed to, as Reebok describes, “deliver a blend of understated luxury and comfort.” The 40th Anniversary Club C 85 features premium details that include premium garment leather, a translucent gum cup sole and microfiber inner lining for enhanced comfort and durability. They are sewn with stitch and turn instead of the traditional collar webbing, offering a more streamlined look.
The shoes come in a custom fortieth anniversary box, a fortieth anniversary sticker, a Reebok Classics polishing cloth, an extra lace set, and a terry towel travel bag
This is the first offering in the Club C 85 anniversary line, with more to be rolled out throughout this year. The 40th Anniversary Club C 85 are being sold exclusively on Reebok.com for $120.
